| It
was good to see our Webelos II friends at the Blue and Gold. It won't
be long before we can join you at the Troop level. We enjoyed making
the camp buckets. Some of us used them during our spring family campout.
Thank you to everyone that was involved in making it such a success.
At one of our den meetings, the Webelos I started working on our Artist Badge. We learned primary and secondary colors from the color wheel. Maybe we have a few Picassos among us. During the campout, we completed all of the tasks to earn our Communications belt loops and are on our way to completing the Communicator badge requirements. Bobby, we are sorry that we missed our assigned time for the music beltloop. The time got away from us. Did we have extra playtime? Is there ever too much playtime for 10 year old boys? We hope you will still help us earn the music belt loop. If you didn't notice, we continued practicing Leave No Trace. We had a recycle bin for our aluminum cans and plastic bottles (and all of the boys and their families used it.) It was awesome to help Mr. O'Keefe with the flag retirement ceremony. Also, we really enjoyed the skit the leaders did. Oh Mr. Bobby, how could you eat that stuff? |

| Good
to see all our Pack here today...we miss our Webelos II friends and hope
some of you come back to see us more often!
A big congrats to all our Webelos Is. At the last Pack meeting half of our scouts received their Webelos badge. At today's meeting the rest of our den will receive theirs! It’s time to have a special day to celebrate our den's achievements! Hint! Hint! It’s party time! We had most of our den participate in Scouting for Food. Although it turned out to be crazy weather (we had everything from rain to wind to cold) we still delivered all of our bags (and even some extra ones!) Even though another Troop ended up collecting most of the bags in Pack 320s area we were still really happy to find out that they had collected over 125 bags that went to the Food Bank! That was over 165 bags for the Pack 320 area! YEAH!!! It was worth the effort and many families will benefit from all your hard work! We had a great time at the Webelos II's Arrow of Light Ceremony in March and were really impressed with the ceremony! We hope that we can do as great a job next year! We salute Leaders Sherry Morrison, Paul Boinay and parent Yvette Eagle for how much they care for their dens! You did a wonderful job creating a great memory for all our scouts to carry with them. We are looking forward to the Blue and Gold next weekend! We will be sad to see our friends move on to their new troops but hope everyone has a wonderful time. Don't forget us as you move up to your troops. We hope you remember your Webelos brothers and will invite us along when you can! |

| Den
6 scouts have been very busy this month! On February 13 the den took
a hike at Oak Grove Lake Park to complete their Outdoorsman activity
badge. Some of the den participated with Ms. Sherry's Web II scouts to
work on their Handyman, Readyman and Scientist activity badges. A very
special thank you to John and Sherry Morrison for including us and thanks
to Mr. Schnarrs for helping us with our Readyman!! The following boys
will be receiving their Webelos Rank this month Daniel Cross, Steven
Keiler, Krys Reedwood, Daniel Shands, Trevor Steiner and Heath Winger!
Keep up the great work scouts! You're doing a great job and we're proud
of you!
Congrats to all our scouts who continued onto the district Pinewood races. Our den's top three - Daniel S., Heath and Steven competed in the Webelos I Pinewood Derby District Race! We had a fun time and Pack 320 won a lot of trophies last Saturday! We throw out a dare to the rest of Pack 320! Let’s see who has the best den turnout at the Scouting for Food drive in April! We bet we can beat the rest of the dens! |

| The
Webelos I den have started off the New Year with a bang and hope all
the other dens started off 2005 just as well! We have been pretty busy
since December and although it’s been a short month we’ve
accomplished a great deal. The den has been working hard on reaching Webelos rank and have been working on our Citizenship Activity Badge and Outdoorsman Activity Badge (both of which we should all have earned by the next Pack Meeting! YES!) We have all completed our Citizenship beltloop this month! Some of us worked on other beltloops and our Leave No Trace awards and we’re proud of all of our scout’s achievements! Half of our den participated in this month's Adopt-A-Spot and although we all froze we still had a great time. Everyone is excited about the Pinewood Derby workshop. A big thank you to the Boinays for letting the Pack take over their home tomorrow! We can’t wait for the Pinewood Derby Pack and District races!!! A VERY special thank you to Mr. Steve Shak! He is the Mariner’s professional soccer player who came to visit us on the 14th. His talk about setting goals and working hard towards them was inspiring for both the scouts and their parents! Our den’s parents are VERY proud of our scout’s hard work on their way to making Rank! A big Pack 320 Happy 10th birthday salute to Krys and Daniel! |

| Hello
Denners We in den 6 had a great time last den meeting we played a great game called Boy Scout Right Left Game Story it was so much fun. I think Everyone should play this game in their den..(This portion of the article was written by Stephen Keiler.) Webelos I have really had a good, but busy time since our last pack meeting. Can you believe everything that we have done? Thank you Mr. Boinay for leading us in another successful Space Derby. Some of us laughed until we cried at the awards resentation. Where do you come up with your ideas? Thank you to everyone that fed us on race day. As growing boys (and family members) we can never have too much good food. The involvement of our Pack in the Christmas Parade is always exciting. We like handing out candy most of all (maybe sneaking a piece for ourselves too.) At our last meeting, we celebrated birthdays for November and December, we had an ornament pass around game and we managed to make a picture decoration to give to our parents. Did you see glitter and sequins all over the place? Then on Saturday, we had two events in one day. First the Arboretum project where we helped rake leaves and clean up the Arboretum. Later we went to the melee that started out as a Hockey game. I’m sure all of the boys loved that!! A special thank you to Sherry Morrison for helping some of our scouts out with earning their Citizens and Leave No Trace badges" |

| The
Webelos 1 have been having a busy month. We have worked on earning our
whittling chip. We went camping. At camp we went fishing, did crafts,
had a field day with games like Tug of War and Sack races. We retired
the flags and had a flag burning ceremony. We made campfires. We roasted
marshmallows and learned how to cook potatoes in a campfire.
We worked on the fitness badge. We talked about drugs, drinking and smoking. We also read a book on drugs. The book was called ”Drugs: a Deadly Game.” We had a costume party. At the party we had good food and candy to eat. We had a piñata to hit. This was for our Halloween party. We had to give up Cubby to Pack 57 but when I read the list they got blown away by how much he did with us in just two months. Krys & Daniel – Webelos 1 Den **Note
from Newsletter Editor: This is the first article in what I hope
will be many from the scouts themselves. The only change made by
the Editor was the margins. Krys and Daniel typed the article on
the computer and saved it just as it is printed. Any Webelo wanting
to work on their Communications badge can submit news articles for
the Pack Newsletter. Also, our Website now has a Scout page where
you may share art, news articles, stories, photographs, poems, den
projects or individual projects. Check out http://www.pack320.com/ScoutsPage
to see how the items will be posted. |

| Another fast and furious month for Den 6. Our den is growing fast and we are having a great time with our new scout friends Xavier McCadden and Daniel Cross. We are currently working on the Fitness Requirements. During one meeting, we decorated the cover of a Safety Notebook. We added pages for home safety, bike safety, emergency telephone numbers, a week food eaten and meal planning pages, but had to finish the book at home. Good work to everyone that did complete the book! Everyone had fun starting to build our Space Derby Rockets for this year Wow, what a turnout! Two of our new scouts have already earned their recruiting strips and patches by recruiting other scouts to Pack 320! Way to go guys!!!! We are ALL looking forward to next weeks campout! | |||||||||||

| Boy,
what fun we’ve had doing all of the scout summertime activities.
The scouts from Webelos I den had a great summer taking part in Pack
320's summer activities and some will even be earning their summer activities
pin for attending at least one activity for each summer month. Now that
the school year has started again, it is time to get down to some serious
work towards earning Webelos badges. Also our den is having fun participating
in the Popcorn Show N Sells and hope to raise a lot of money for the
pack! We hope we can make enough sales so we can have fun throwing cream
pies this year!! Last, but not least, Den 6 would like to welcome our
new scouts Adrian Marchi Jr., Troy Gamboa, Terin Betz and their families. |
