Pack 320's Tiger Den Page

There were four Tigers who ventured out on the camping trip this past weekend.  Ryan, Zachery, Chris, Brendan, and also Sean, Ryan’s brother participated.  Brendan, being and “Old Hand” at camping was very helpful in leading the Tigers and their leaders with the song during the campfire skit time.  When the tigers went fishing to get their fishing belt loops, Zachery caught a fish “This Big!”  They enjoyed interacting with the rest of the Pack, competing during the Field Day, learning about camping, and getting more involved in scouting.  The Tug of War against the “All the Leaders” was tough, but we appreciated the help from the other Dens in the Pack to defeat them.

Many thanks to the moms and dads who helped make the first camping trip for the Tigers a huge success!

We have FIVE Tigers! Only fitting, since we are going to Den FIVE. Please say hello and welcome the newest members of our pack; Brendan O’Keefe, Christopher Henniker, David Haas, PJ Mayo, and Mason Moore. Some of you might say a couple of those names are familiar and you are right. Both Brendan and Mason have older Scout Brothers in the Pack. Last month, both Brendan and Christopher attended the tour of the USS Roosevelt and had a blast.

We have started out this year by making scrapbooks with a picture of ourselves and our adult leader. We have also been practicing the Scout Oath and the Pledge of Allegiance. Last week, we made bookmarks to help keep our places in our books, and we started learning a Tiger song that we hope to eventually share with everyone. We also looked at different maps and learned many different things about them.

David’s dad, Mike Haas, has graciously stepped forward to be the Tiger Den Leader. Please say hello to the newest members of our pack, and introduce yourselves so that everyone will soon get to know everyone!
